I loved this latest missive, dearest SNO: it is rich & layered with mothering & losing & a myriad of griefs— some of which can be addressed & many of which must be left “undone,” as you suggest so deftly. Aria is so lucky to have you around to honor her questions by not answering them. Meantime, you are such a fine thinker & writer.
I think it was Kukai, 9th C, who said something like, “the first word, ‘Ah!’ gave birth to all others: each of them is true.” I am sure I have gotten this at least half wrong. So it always goes with parenting, with processing loss, with any sort of deep feeling or thinking. Love you!
